Airbus says its 2025 delivery plan is intact despite ongoing supply and labour pressures.
On 15 September 2025, Airbus confirmed it remains on course to meet its 2025 aircraft delivery targets, with executives emphasising steady production rates for key models including the A320neo family. The European original equipment manufacturer (OEM) said persistent shortages of components and labour are being managed through mitigation plans and closer supplier coordination.
Company leaders told investors and airline customers the firmʼs guidance has not changed as of 15 September 2025. Airbus highlighted that maintaining production cadence — especially for single-aisle types such as the A320neo family — is central to fulfilling airline orders booked for the year.
Airbus is relying on three practical approaches to reduce disruption: prioritising critical parts, flexing labour allocations across plants, and deepening communication with tier‑one suppliers. The goal is to avoid cascading delays that can affect final assembly lines in Toulouse and Hamburg.
Executives were careful not to promise specifics on monthly delivery counts in public remarks, but stressed that contingency plans are in place to limit the impact of shortages. Airlines that rely on A320neo family aircraft have been briefed on the companyʼs mitigation steps while Airbus continues supplier outreach to shore up parts availability.
For now, Airbusʼ message to markets and customers is straightforward: despite sector‑wide bottlenecks, production rates are being defended to keep aircraft flows on schedule through the remainder of 2025.
