KLM Strike Cancels 104 Flights at Schiphol

KLM strike at Amsterdam Schiphol on September 17, 2025, led to 104 cancelled departures during a four-hour ground staff walkout.

The industrial action ran from 08:00 to 12:00 CET and hit roughly 15% of the day’s scheduled departures, affecting thousands of passengers and causing delays at other European airports where KLM operates.

Two unions, FNV and CNV, staged the stoppage as part of a wider dispute over working conditions and collective bargaining; the move went ahead despite recent agreements reached with other unions.
